Welcome to FPA's newest educational conference in innovations in pharmacy practice. We will be covering a variety of subjects including biologicals and bisomilar drugs, innovations in oncology, clinical pharmacogenomics and more. Also offering medication errors that the new course requirement for the validation of prescribed controlled substances.

Offering 12 hours of consultant pharmacist continuing education, 2 hours of medication errors and 2 hours of the new required CE program on the validation of prescriptions for controlled substances.  Also for those just needing general continuing education a total of 12 hours of CE is available and an additional 4 hours for those registering for the optional lunch programs.  The last day to preregister is Friday, August 26, 2016

Hotel Information: FPA room rate is $129 plus taxes (single/double occupancy). The room reservation deadline is Friday, August 19, 2016. Thereafter, reservations will be taken on a space or rate availability basis. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Any guaranteed reservation not cancelled 24 hours prior to arrival will be subject to one night room and tax cancellation fee. Check-in time is 3:00pm /check-out time is noon. Self parking is discounted to $7 for FPA participants. For room reservation call (305) 649-5000.

Cancellation Policy:
If cancellation is made in writing 30 days prior to the program a refund will be made less a $10 service charge. If cancellation is made 29-10 days prior to the program, a refund will be made, less a $50 service charge. Cancellation requested in writing after that date will result in credit for another FPA CE program valid for one year.

Policy on Industry Support: The FPA adheres to the US Food and Drug Administrator’s policy on industry supported educational activities. The FDA policy requires, among other things, that we conduct the educational program supported by any corporate educational grants independently and without control by the grantor of the program’s planning, content or execution. Furthermore, the programs must be free of commercial bias for or against any product.

ADA Regulations:
The FPA complies with ADA requirements. Please contact the office in advance of the meeting for any needed technical assistance.

Tax Deduction: The expense of continuing education, when taken to maintain and improve professional skills is tax deductible. Please contact your accountant for complete details.

Children: Children under age 18 are not allowed in CE programs.
