The Florida Pharmacy Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Contact hours are available upon successful completion of attendance and evaluation forms. Universal Activity Numbers (UAN) are listed on the brochure. Statements of continuing education will be published in your online profiles on and available for you to download and print in four weeks.  Courses will be submitted to CE Broker and  CPE Monitor only ONCE within 30 days of the program. This is an ACPE application and knowledge* based activity. Consultant number pending.

The Florida Pharmacy Association is also a Florida Department of Health Approved provider of continuing education and will be reporting to 
CE Broker.

Hotel Information:  
Located on 26 beautifully landscaped acres overlooking Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa is a haven for recreation and relaxation. Enjoy our brand new lazy river, five exciting waterslides, four pools, and a secluded beach on Big Hickory Island. Enjoy high-quality services and an unmatched attention to details from our friendly staff and concierge desk. The room rate is $199 plus tax based on single/double occupancy.  The room reservation deadline is Wednesday, June 20, 2018 or when room block is full.  Thereafter, reservations may be taken on a space available or rate available basis.  There is a reduced resort fee included in the room rate and includes: welcome beverage at check-in, self-parking, two bottles of water each day, coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea, local daily newspaper, unlimited local and 1-800 phone calls, incoming fax service, 24-hour fitness center access, pool activities and lawn games, ferry transportation to the resort’s secluded island, beach chairs and umbrellas at the resort’s beach, rock climbing wall, bicycle rentals, resort trolley transportation to marina and Raptor Bay Golf Course, DVD rentals, golf bag storage and electric car charging stations.

Please be sure to ask for the Florida Pharmacy Association group rate. All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card.  The check-in time is 4:00pm and the checkout time is 11:00 am.  Room reservations can be made by calling (888) 421-1442 or (402) 592-6464.  Hotel guests self-parking is complimentary. Valet parking is $25 per day, with in and out privileges.



Cancellation Policy: If cancellation is made in writing 30 days prior to the program a refund will be made less a $10 service charge. If cancellation is made 29-10 days prior to the program,a refund will be made, less a $50 service charge. Cancellation requested in writing after that date will result in credit for another FPA CE program or service. Credits are valid for one year from date of original cancellation.

Policy on Industry Support: The FPA adheres to the US Food and Drug Administrator’s policy on industry supported educational activities. The FDA policy requires, among other things, that we conduct the educational program supported by any corporate educational grants independently and without control by the grantor of the program’s planning, content or execution.Furthermore, the programs must be free of commercial bias for or against any product.

Tax Deduction: The expense of continuing education,when taken to maintain and improve professional skills is tax deductible. Please contact your accountant for complete details.
