Offering: General, Consultant, Law, Medication Error, and HIV/AIDS continuing education for all pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
The Florida Pharmacy Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Up to 15 contact hours are available upon successful completion of attendance and evaluation forms. Universal Activity Numbers on brochure. Statements of continuing education will be available for you to download and print from your member/nonmember profile in about six to eight weeks after the meeting. This is an ACPE  knowledge based activity.

The Florida Pharmacy Association is also a Florida Department of Health Approved provider of continuing education and will be reporting to CE Broker.

What Pharmacists Should Know about Medical Marijuana

Cancellation Policy: If cancellation is made in writing 30 days prior to the program a refund will be made less a $10 service charge. If cancellation is made 29-10 days prior to the program, a refund will be made, less a $50 service charge. Cancellation requested in writing after that date will result in credit for another FPA CE program or service valid for one year.

Policy on Industry Support: The FPA adheres to the US Food and Drug Administrator’s policy on industry supported educational activities. The FDA policy requires, among other things, that we conduct the educational program supported by any corporate educational grants independently and without control by the grantor of the program’s planning, content or execution. Furthermore, the programs must be free of commercial bias for or against any product.

Tax Deduction: The expense of continuing education, when taken to maintain and improve professional skills is tax deductible. Please contact your accountant for complete details.

Hotel Information: The FPA room rate is $85 plus taxes for single/double occupancy. The room reservation deadline is Friday, April 25, 2014. Thereafter, reservations will be taken on a space availability basis. Check-in time is 3:00pm /check-out time is 12:00pm. Parking is complimentary.
